Accounting Associate - Residences Bachelor Gulch

As an Accounting Associate, you’ll partner closely with our experienced Controller, gaining hands-on exposure to every side of property finance—from daily transactions and reporting to association governance. Key Responsibilities Include:
Support daily accounting operations including invoice processing, vendor management, and payment reconciliation to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Maintain vendor and financial records, assist with 1099 preparation, and ensure compliance with purchase order and budget guidelines.
Manage Ramp expense reimbursements, WEX and credit card transactions, and assist with daily credit card batch processing.
Post and reconcile daily ledger activity between Opera and Dynamics systems, track controllable expenses, and support cashiering functions such as deposits and change orders.
Assist with association governance tasks including maintaining meeting files, posting minutes, and updating owner portals.
Maintain organized shared-drive documentation and participate in team process improvement and cross-training initiatives.
This role builds strong accounting fundamentals while providing hands-on exposure to the systems and workflows that drive hospitality finance. You’ll work closely with the Property Controller to develop technical proficiency and prepare for future growth in resort accounting and financial management.

Pay Rate: $30 - $35/hour
Schedule: 8am-4pm, Monday - Friday, flexibility is offered and encouraged.

To be successful in this role, you will combine strong communication skills, professionalism, and a high level of guest service with a detail-oriented, analytical approach to property accounting. You will be highly organized, skilled in Excel and accounting software, and knowledgeable in GAAP, financial reporting, and budget management. You will confidently interpret laws and regulations, train others in policies and procedures, exercise independent judgment, and take initiative to keep operations running smoothly. Bilingual candidates fluent in English and Spanish are a plus, and a passion for hospitality and property operations will help you thrive and grow with our team.
