Banquet Prep Cook

Position summary

A position description cannot possibly reflect all duties which may be required to meet the guests or Hotels needs. The objective of all positions is to achieve Viceroy standards of service and performance. The following is a summary of the major accountabilities of the position.

Duties and responsibilities

• Show up to work on time, meeting our grooming standards. Nonslip shoes and a great attitude a must!
• Follow a prep list with recipes and ensure you ask questions when doing a new task. Also show the Chef in charge what you are doing to ensure perfection
• Work in a clean and timely manner
• Follow all Serv Safe food safety rules (we will train)
• Wash Hands before and after every task and before and after wearing gloves
• Assist with any prep that is being done in the kitchen.
• Assisting when necessary in the set-up, planning and cooking of banquets
• Maintain a teamwork orientation towards co-workers.
• Maintain the highest possible ethics, integrity and cooperation with co-workers in all departments of the Viceroy.
• Adhere to all Viceroy Policy and Procedures.
• Ensure kitchen is in good order, clean and organized before leaving each day. 
• Participate in any required meetings.
• Perform other related duties requested by management.

Location: Viceroy Snowmass - Snowmass Village, CO

Start Date: May 15th 2026

Employment Type: Full Time Seasonal 

Schedule: Flexible schedule, some nights, weekends and holidays required

Pay Rate: $22.00 an hour
