Chief Engineer - Poste Montane Lodge
We’re looking for a Chief Engineer to lead maintenance and operations at Poste Montane Lodge in Beaver Creek. This hands-on role is responsible for keeping all building systems, equipment, and grounds running smoothly to ensure a safe, well-maintained, and guest-ready property.

What You’ll Do Includes:
- Inspect and maintain building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) to ensure safe, efficient operation
- Identify issues and complete repairs, troubleshooting problems to determine effective solutions
- Perform preventive maintenance and support installations and special projects
- Recommend system improvements to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and guest experience
- Communicate and coordinate with the management team and Director of Engineering

Start Date: ASAP
Employment Type: Full-Time, Year-Round
Schedule: 5 eight-hour shifts, start times can be flexible, Saturday shift is mandatory
Pay Rate: $78,000 - $82,000 per year, DOE

Our Ideal candidate brings the following:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in engineering, facilities maintenance, or a related field; or a certificate from a college or technical school in a facilities maintenance or engineering field
- 3–6 years of related experience and/or training
- Strong knowledge of building systems with hands-on experience applying engineering principles
- Ability to evaluate systems, identify current or potential issues, and make informed recommendations
- Self-motivated with strong troubleshooting skills, using available resources and independent research to solve problems
