We’re seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our Maintenance Team and ensure The Borders Lodge operates at peak performance. In this hands-on role, you’ll oversee building systems, equipment, and unit maintenance while supervising one team member and coordinating with vendors and property staff. Duties Include:
Building & Unit Maintenance: Perform and oversee routine maintenance and repairs for all building systems, equipment, and individual units.
Pool & Hot Tub Maintenance: Ensure proper operation, safety, and cleanliness of pools, hot tubs, and related systems.
Supervision & Leadership: Lead and supervise one maintenance employee, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster a strong, collaborative team.
Guest & Owner Requests: Respond promptly to guest and owner inquiries, troubleshooting issues and ensuring exceptional service.
Planning & Operations: Manage maintenance schedules, preventative maintenance programs, inventory, vendor coordination, and departmental budgets.

Location: The Borders Lodge in Beaver Creek, CO
Start Date: ASAP
Employment Type: Full Time, Year Round
Compensation: $72,000-$75,000 annually
Schedule: 5 days per week, including weekends and holidays
Posting Closes: 12/11/2025 or when filled
At least 21 years old with 1–2 years of prior management experience
Prior maintenance experience and CPO certification required
Strong problem-solving, delegation, and time-management skills
Hardworking, dedicated, and able to lead a small team effectively
English speaking preferred; basic computer skills required
