Executive Director of Food and Beverage
The Executive Director of Food & Beverage provides visionary leadership and hands-on operational oversight across all food and beverage venues, including restaurants, lounges, in-room dining, banquets, and seasonal activations. This leader drives profitability, innovation, and guest satisfaction while aligning all operations with the property’s brand identity and East West Hospitality’s service culture.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the overall F&B vision and long-term strategy to position the property as a culinary destination.
- Oversee multiple restaurant and bar concepts, ensuring each venue delivers a distinct yet cohesive brand experience.
- Collaborate with ownership and executive leadership on F&B concept development, brand partnerships, and new outlet openings.
- Establish clear business plans, revenue goals, and key performance indicators for all F&B departments.
- Drive innovation in culinary, mixology, sustainability, and technology (e.g., digital menus, inventory systems).
Operational Excellence
- Direct all daily F&B operations, ensuring consistent excellence in product quality, service delivery, and ambiance.
- Oversee compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and liquor control regulations.
- Lead menu engineering, pricing strategy, and inventory management to maximize profitability.
- Conduct regular venue audits to ensure operational readiness, cleanliness, and brand standard adherence.
- Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and performance benchmarks across all outlets.
- Ensure seamless coordination between culinary, service, stewarding, and events teams.
- Partner with Engineering and Design for capital projects, renovations, and maintenance of all F&B spaces.
Financial & Business Performance
- Develop and manage the annual F&B budget, forecasts, and capital planning.
- Monitor and control labor, food, and beverage costs to achieve targeted flow-through.
- Analyze revenue streams, guest trends, and market data to inform strategy.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to create promotional programs, activations, and partnerships that drive incremental revenue.
- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts to maintain cost efficiency and quality assurance.
- Prepare comprehensive performance reports for ownership and executive committee review.
Team Development & Culture
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of managers and supervisors across all venues.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement succession planning and professional development programs.
- Conduct regular leadership meetings and performance evaluations to ensure alignment with goals.
- Promote a positive, inclusive work environment that embodies East West Hospitality’s values and service culture.
- Recognize and celebrate exceptional performance to boost engagement and retention.
Guest Experience & Brand Alignment
- Curate exceptional dining and beverage experiences that reflect the property’s personality and destination appeal.
- Ensure guest satisfaction scores, social media feedback, and review responses are monitored and acted upon promptly.
- Engage regularly with guests and owners to maintain strong relationships and personalize the experience.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop storytelling and content that showcase the property’s culinary identity.
- Oversee VIP and special event service standards for high-profile guests, groups, and ownership events.
Innovation & Sustainability
- Champion initiatives that support environmental responsibility and community engagement.
- Introduce sustainable sourcing, waste reduction, and local supplier partnerships.
- Stay ahead of global F&B trends, competitor concepts, and technology enhancements.
- Incorporate data-driven decision-making into operational and strategic planning.

Employment Type: Full-Time, Year-Round
Schedule: Flexible schedule, some nights, weekends and required
Pay Rate: $130,000 -$160,000 plus bonus

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience in luxury or lifestyle hospitality F&B management, including at least 10 years in the Director of Food and Beverage role.
- Proven track record overseeing multi-venue operations and large-scale teams.
- Exceptional financial acumen, with strong command of P&L, forecasting, and cost analysis.
- Skilled communicator with dynamic leadership presence and high emotional intelligence.
- Deep understanding of culinary and beverage trends, brand storytelling, and service design.
- Strong partnerships with local purveyors, beverage distributors, and hospitality networks.
