Your Role:
As a Financial Accountant, you’ll be a key player in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting informed business decisions. Your responsibilities will include preparing financial statements, analyzing trends, assisting with forecasting, managing tax obligations, and participating in internal audits. You’ll also support the month-end close process and deliver reporting that provides meaningful insights to leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including transaction entries, account reconciliations, and audit support
Generate financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Assist with month-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
Create financial reports and analyses, including variance analysis and budget-to-actual comparisons
Forecast costs and revenues and analyze trends to inform strategic decision-making
Manage tax filings and payments and support internal audit activities

Pay Rate: $30-34/hour
Schedule: 9am-5pm, Monday - Friday

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience, with 1–3 years of experience in financial accounting, bookkeeping, or a related role
Working knowledge of day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
Experience preparing and analyzing financial statements, with an understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
Proficiency with accounting software and systems, along with intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with experience supporting reconciliations, audits, budgets, and month-end/year-end close processes
