From hands-on training and real-time service recovery to upholding property standards and partnering closely with the Operations Manager/General Manager, you’ll be the steady leader who keeps everything running smoothly in a fast-paced environment. Duties Include:

  • Provide daily oversight of Front Desk operations, ensuring efficient, polished service for every guest and owner.

  • Act as the primary point of contact during assigned shifts for guest and owner concerns, service escalations, and team support needs.

  • Perform all Front Desk Agent responsibilities as business demands require, including check-in/check-out, owner reservation support, and account settlement.

  • Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of Front Desk associates to drive consistency and uphold property standards.

  • Conduct service audits and deliver real-time coaching to elevate hospitality performance and ensure service expectations are consistently exceeded.

Location: The Lion in Vail,CO

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Status: Full Time, Year Round

Pay Rate: $25 per hour with tip potential

Schedule: 8am - 6pm, four days per week. Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Our ideal candidate for this year-round position is legally authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing basis, without a specific end date. They’re reliable, friendly, and honest—someone teammates trust and guests remember. With at least one year of guest service experience (hotel or resort front desk strongly preferred), they bring confidence to high-volume environments and remain calm and solution-focused during service escalations. Previous leadership or supervisory experience in hospitality is a strong plus, along with hands-on familiarity with property management systems and guest service platforms.
