Pastry Cook I
We are currently seeking a Pastry Cook to join our team!
Scope of this Position:
- Works in the Pastry Department to deliver high quality preparation and execution of Pastry, dessert and bakery products to the standard set by the hotel, ensuring highest levels of guest, company and colleague satisfaction.
- Works as part of the Culinary team to successfully execute all kitchen operations; strives to continually improve guest, owner and colleague satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the department
Qualified Candidates will possess the following:
- Remains focused on guest satisfaction and desired financial results.
- Follow direction to ensure food production occurs according to operating and quality standards.
- Complies with all Pastry and Culinary policies, standards and procedures.
- Complies with Company sanitation standards.
- Strives for continuous improvement and excellence in all areas of responsibility.
- Follows an effective training and inspection program of all Pastry areas to ensure compliance of Health and Safety procedures and local laws.
- Understands the operating and maintenance procedures of all departmental equipment.
- Is willing to learn new Pastry and baking techniques and how to use equipment.
- Maintains a strong working relationship with all departments
