Individual will represent the Riverfront Athletic Club in a professional manner. Guide members with different fitness levels, in a group or personal training environment through exercises designed to motivate, enhance overall fitness, while ensuring the classes are safe, enjoyable and educational.

  • Work closely with Management to produce progressive and popular fitness classes and programs.
  • Maintain and continued Personal training/ fitness class offering throughout the year.
  • Make sure room is in order for beginning of class, clean and put together at end.
  • Continually monitor participants to ensure all are using correct form, offer variations to accommodate all fitness levels.
  • Answer any questions/concerns participants may have.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards his/her responsibilities, fellow employees, and members.
  • Generate Personal Training clientele.
  • Record proper attendance and time documentation 


  • Monitor the front desk of the Athletic Club when needed.
  • Arrive at class 10 to 15 minutes ahead of scheduled start time to be available to interact with members, answer questions, inquire about their fitness progress, introduce and orient new participants. Instructor should know participants on an individual basis and have a good sense of their fitness capabilities.
  • Prepare appropriate music for class.
  • Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly

          Language Skills

    • Ability to speak, read and write in the English Language.
    • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal. 

          Equipment Utilized

    • Working knowledge of equipment for safe and proper use. 

          Computer Operations

    • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft applications and office equipment.





Minimum Requirements

      Education and/or Experience

  • Must hold a personal training and group fitness certification from an accredited organization.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience
  •  Current CPR/AED Certification
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
