Restaurant Manager
Stag Lodge is seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead the front of house team at our on-site restaurant, Café 52, for the upcoming winter season. Nestled slope-side in the heart of Deer Valley, Utah, Stag Lodge offers ski-in/ski-out convenience, luxury accommodations, and warm mountain hospitality. At the center of the lodge experience is Café 52, our signature restaurant known for its inviting atmosphere, elevated cuisine, and memorable guest service.

Position Overview:
The Restaurant Manager will oversee all aspects of Café 52 front of house operations during the winter season, ensuring outstanding guest experiences, smooth daily service, and a motivated, high-performing team. This is a leadership role requiring strong hospitality expertise, financial insight, and a passion for creating welcoming dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Management: Supervise daily restaurant activities, monitor food & beverage quality, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor laws.
- Staff Leadership: Hire, train, schedule, and mentor staff while fostering a positive team culture.
- Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, track expenses, oversee payroll, and monitor sales to optimize profitability.
- Guest Experience: Deliver warm, attentive service and resolve guest issues with professionalism.

Start Date: November 2025
Employment Type: Full Time, Seasonal
Schedule: Varied, based on operational hours

- Proven leadership in restaurant management.
- The ability to effectively lead, motivate, and communicate with staff
- Strong knowledge of food & beverage operations, POS systems, and Utah liquor laws.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and guest service
- Financial acumen
