A/R Accountant

Ready to put your skills to work with a focus on one of the world's leading loyalty programs? The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa, managed by East West Hospitality, has an immediate opening for an A/R Accountant. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of managing Marriott Rewards receivables, ensuring smooth and accurate collections. Your primary responsibility will be keeping Marriott Rewards accounts on track, while also supporting collections across all AR accounts. You'll play a key part in making sure everything runs efficiently, while handling confidential financial information with care.  If you're organized, professional, and ready to take on a role where your work really matters, this could be the perfect fit!

Duties Include:

In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert for managing Marriott Rewards receivables, reconciling daily balances, and calculating the total owed for each reservation with precision. Your meticulous record-keeping ensures accurate payments, while your strong communication skills help resolve any discrepancies with Marriott. You'll also support AR operations for the entire property, handling cash folios, cancellations, and no-show stays, while preparing weekly reports for the Director. Your advanced Excel skills, using complex formulas like vlookup and sumifs, will be crucial as you maintain cash flow forecasts and ensure compliance with accounting policies. On top of that, you'll respond to guest and owner requests, continuously looking for ways to improve their experience. This is a technical, detail-driven role where your organizational and problem-solving skills will shine!

Employment Type: Full Time, Year Round 

Pay Rate: $25 / hour 

Schedule: Full time, Monday - Friday, 9-5

The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for data, this role is for you. Previous accounting and data analysis experience is preferred, as you'll manage Marriott Rewards receivables, ensure accurate payments, and support AR operations. Your precision and analytical mindset will be key to success in this role!
