Accounting Manager
Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for all duties associated with Finance & Accounting Management. Strives to continually improve guest, owner and colleague satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the department.
- Oversee the Accounts Payable process.
- Assist with any Income Journal questions and validate the data at month end.
- Monitor outstanding receivables, intercompany billing, and reconciliation.
- Oversee collection and reconciliation of cash and monitor shortages.
- Verifying owner’s revenue statements and perform payments monthly.
- Perform all billing for HOA Assessments quarterly and monitor outstanding balances.
- HOA bank and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Assist in preparing & reviewing monthly financial statements for HOA.
- Assist in the production of annual 1099’s.
- Assist in annual external audit.
- Maintains accounting standards with established Standard Operating Procedures.
- Follows policies to ensure the preservation of hotel assets by using internal accounting controls and ensuring that all transactions are recorded properly in Resort’s books and records.
- Ensures compliance with all Finance policies, standards, and procedures.
- Strives for continuous improvement and excellence in all areas of responsibility.
- Experience in reviewing Financial Statements and Balance Sheet Reconciliation.
- Exceptional organization skills.
- Needs to be a collaborator to assist in the day-to-day running of the department.

Start Date: ASAP
Employment Type: Full Time Year Round
Schedule: Flexible schedule, some nights, weekends and holidays required
Pay Rate: $75k to $85K Annually

* Extensive knowledge of financial operational procedures.
* Knowledge of overall hotel operations as they affect department.
* Good presentation, platform, and training/facilitation skills.
* Ability to use standard software applications and hotel systems.
* Advanced Excel skills.
