Viceroy Snowmass, located in Snowmass Village, CO is looking for a Assistant Director of Front Office to join our team. If you enjoy working as a part of a team and have a motivated and positive attitude, we would love to meet you.

Duties Include:

  • Assist in managing the front office team, including receptionists, concierge, and bell staff.
  • Oversee daily front office operations, including check-in/check-out processes, guest services, and reservations.
  • Monitor and evaluate staff performance, provide coaching, training, and support as needed.
  • Handle guest complaints and concerns with a focus on resolving issues promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure all guest interactions are professional, courteous, and meet the hotel’s quality standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Conduct regular guest feedback reviews and use insights to improve service.
  • Assist in developing and implementing front office policies and procedures.
  • Monitor room availability and occupancy levels, coordinating with the reservations team to optimize revenue.
  • Ensure the front office area is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
  • Assist in managing the front office budget, including payroll and operating expenses.
  • Review and approve charges, credit adjustments, and other financial transactions.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports related to front office operations.
  • Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new front office staff.
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members.
  • Ensure staff are up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest information and adhere to data protection regulations.

Implement emergency procedures and ensure staff are trained in safety protocols

Location: Viceroy Snowmass - Snowmass Village, CO

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Type: Full Time Year Round

Schedule: Flexible schedule, some nights, weekends and holidays required

Pay Rate: $75K Annually

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Three (2) to five (4) years of Hotel and/or Front Office operational experience in a luxury property. 1 year of management experience in the Front Office
  • Proven team leader with a high level of energy and motivation with a proven track record of living the company's values
  • An intermediate to proficient understanding of Computer systems such as: Opera, ALICE, Salto, Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook is preferred
  • Enter and locate work related information using computers and/or point of sale systems
  • Ability to spend extended lengths of time viewing a computer screen
  • Possess a gracious, friendly, and fun demeanor
  • Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high-level attention to detail
  • Maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments
  • Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork
  • Must be able to stand or walk a minimum eight-hour shift.
  • Must be able observant and quick to respond to various situations while also multitasking and handling stressful situations.
  • Must be able to twist, tow (push or pull), reach, bend climb and carry objects as necessary.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Must be able to work inside and outside at all times of the year as needed, based upon business volumes.
