Poste Montane Lodge, managed by East West Hospitality, has an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Assistant General Manager! You'll play a vital role in supporting front desk operations and staff, ensuring exceptional service for both owners and rental guests. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team and enhance the overall guest experience while furthering your career in hospitality management.

Duties Include:

As the Assistant General Manager, you’ll serve as the primary contact for guest and owner inquiries, resolving issues related to experiences, reservations, and personnel with professionalism. You will support the Front Desk and Breakfast Servers, oversee shift schedules, and handle guest concerns efficiently while managing month-end accounting and accounts receivable.

Your responsibilities include recruiting, training, and developing staff to ensure exceptional service, overseeing sales and marketing initiatives, and maintaining accurate rates on third-party websites. Effective communication with Housekeeping and Maintenance is essential for addressing property issues, and you will also manage petty cash accounting and perform secretarial duties.

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Type: Full Time, Year Round

Schedule: 40 hours/week, holidays and on-call shifts required. Flexibility needed based on business demands.

Pay Rate: $62,000 - $69,000 Annual Salary, Sign on bonus to be paid half after 60 days and the other half after 90 days

The perfect candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, a positive, go-getter attitude, and at least three years of experience in customer service or hotel operations, preferably with prior management or supervisory experience. A licensed Colorado Real Estate broker is preferred, or the ability to obtain a license within the first year. They should be fluent in English, capable of interpreting safety rules and procedures, and proficient with computers and software like RDP Win Reservations System and Microsoft Office. Strong mathematical and reasoning skills, along with basic accounting knowledge, are essential for analyzing financial reports and making strategic decisions while maintaining a calm and friendly demeanor with staff and guests.
