Assistant Property Manager - Vail Mountain Lodging

We are looking for a dependable Assistant Property Manager. If you are adaptable and have a great work ethic and organization skills, we would love to meet you!

The Assistant Property Manager works with the Property Manager in the general administration of the property and performs related management functions with the daily operations of an apartment community.

You will be cross trained on Property Manager functions to act in that capacity in the Manager's absence.

Duties Include: 

• Conducts weekly walkthrough inspections of individual units and common areas, including homecare, rental, and HOA properties, ensuring high standards of quality and upkeep.

• Handles pre-arrival communication with guests and coordinates smooth check-ins and check-outs, helping ensure guests feel prepared, welcomed, and supported throughout their stay.

• Acts as a key point of contact for guest support, promptly responding to inquiries or issues to maintain a positive guest experience.

• Supports the Property Manager in all day-to-day functions of the Property Management department, including vendor coordination and scheduling.

• Provides coverage for the Property Manager and others on their days off, ensuring continuity of service and operations.

• Works closely with Employee Housing Units in Vail Village to provide showings and fulfill maintenance requests as needed.

• Prepares, follows up on, and posts work orders, including vendor invoicing, for Property Manager’s review and approval.

• Follows up on arrival and departure inspections of units, as well as periodic inspections and inventories to ensure homes are ready for guests and owners alike.

• Maintains regular communication with property owners to keep them informed and ensure their needs are being met.

• Recognizes and identifies general home maintenance and repair needs, and follow through to ensure timely completion of necessary work.

Employment Status: Full Time, Year Round

Pay Rate: $29/ hour

Schedule:  Flexible schedule with holidays and weekends required
