Chief Development Officer - Hospitality (Internal Candidates Only)
Job Description
East West Family of Companies is seeking a Chief Development Officer to be a strategic partner in driving a long-term business expansion. The Chief Development Officer (CDO) is a key member of the EWH executive leadership team, responsible for driving strategic growth and business development across hospitality-related ventures, including HOA management, condo-hotel operations, and more. This role will lead market analysis, deal sourcing, partnership structuring, and long-term pipeline development, ensuring alignment with the EWH's vision and performance goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in HOA management, condo-hotel development, resort operations, and mixed-use hospitality ventures.
- Lead strategic planning and execution for market expansion, acquisitions, and partnerships.
- Build and manage relationships with developers, ownership groups, boards, investors, and other key stakeholders.
- Oversee financial modeling, due diligence, and deal negotiations.
- Collaborate with operations, legal, finance, and marketing teams to ensure seamless project transitions and launch.
- Monitor industry trends to inform strategy and maintain competitive advantage.
Location: Corporate Office - must be able to travel up to 50% of the time
Start Date: ASAP
Employment Type: Full Time, Year Round
Pay Rate: $200 - $250k

- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience at EWH in the hospitality/property/HOA management areas.
- Strong track record in identifying and executing growth initiatives in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Deep understanding of condo-hotel, vacation ownership, and resort operations.
- Excellent financial acumen and deal negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and communicate at the executive and board level.
