Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for precision and performance? We’re looking for a Chief Engineer to take the helm and drive excellence across our maintenance operations. In this vital role, you'll lead and coordinate a skilled team responsible for the repair, upkeep, and installation of equipment, machinery, building systems, and property infrastructure-including grounds, irrigation, and utilities. From troubleshooting complex issues to implementing preventative maintenance strategies, you’ll be the force that keeps everything running smoothly and efficiently. Duties Include:
Oversee daily departmental operations, including budgeting, expenditures, payroll, and time sheet tracking.
Manage all HR functions for the department, including hiring, training, performance reviews, and compliance with OSHA and safety regulations.
Lead and monitor maintenance of all building systems, utility infrastructure, and energy management programs, ensuring compliance with building codes.
Administer preventative maintenance and cost-saving initiatives, reviewing and closing out work orders and reports regularly.
Coordinate department activities with other teams and represent the department at Association Board Meetings.
Location: Beaver Creek Engineering, officed in Beaver Creek, CO
Start Date: ASAP
Employment Type: Full Time Year Round
Schedule: Full time hours, nights and weekends may be required, based on business needs
Pay Rate: $28 - $33/hour, DOE

Our perfect candidate brings a Bachelor’s degree in a related field-or a solid foundation of at least three years of hands-on experience in engineering or facilities management. Whether through formal education, on-the-job training, or a combination of both, they’ve developed the leadership and technical skills needed to succeed. They excel at managing diverse teams of 5-10 individuals, guiding a range of skill sets and personalities with confidence, clarity, and a steady hand.
