We’re looking for a skilled, solutions-driven Chief Engineer to take the lead on property operations, maintenance excellence, and team development. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the safe, efficient operation of all building systems including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and structural components
• Lead departmental budgeting, planning, and capital project management to ensure long-term asset value and operational efficiency
• Implement comprehensive preventive maintenance programs, energy-saving initiatives, and emergency procedures while maintaining full regulatory compliance
• Supervise day-to-day repairs and upkeep of common areas, back-of-house spaces, and grounds to maintain the highest standards of property presentation
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee contracted services including landscaping, snow removal, and specialized repairs
• Support HOA engagement through Board meeting participation, reserve analysis input, and maintain clear communication channels with the General Manager

Location: Frontgate - Avon

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Type: Full Time Year Round

Schedule: Monday - Friday but can accommodate weekends, four 10 shifts and/or some night work

Pay Rate: $85,000 -$90,000 annually, DOE + $3,000 sign on bonus! (half paid after 60 days, and half paid after 12days)

The Right Candidate Will Have:

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, valid Colorado driver’s license, and a detail-oriented, safety-conscious mindset.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience across multiple trades, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, irrigation, and pool/spa maintenance.

• Excellent administrative and organizational abilities, with experience in vendor coordination, invoice processing, warranty tracking, and maintenance reporting.

• Professional communication and leadership skills to interact effectively with guests, owners, HOAs, and senior leadership, as well as to lead and support team performance.

• Proficiency with technology and property management systems, including spreadsheets and reporting tools.

• Knowledge of HOA operations and board relations, including budgeting and reserve analysis (preferred but highly valued).
