Construction Services Department Foreman
Job Description
Old Greenwood, managed by East West Hospitality, is looking for an experienced Construction Services Department Foreman. Responsibilities include: supervising all construction projects for EWH associations and residences as directed by the HOA Project Manager. Lead by example and assist in training and supervising the construction services team members. Fill in for Old Greenwood SOA/HOA’s as needed. If you have a mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a 'can do' attitude then we want to hear from you!
Duties Include:
- Supervise, train, and lead the construction services team, overseeing tasks such as painting, snow removal, landscape services, and general construction work, while meeting regularly with the project manager to review goals and filling in as SOA/HOA technician as needed. Ensure projects are completed to HOA standards with follow-up quality inspections, and ensure all staff adhere to OSHA safety practices.
- Review departmental & project budgets and provide input to the project manager.
- Communicate effectively with the project manager and owners, collaborating in weekly meetings and providing clear updates as needed.
- Prepare various surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and removing loose paint, and ensure the proper use and maintenance of painting tools while working at heights up to 32 feet. Protect surrounding areas from paint damage, collaborate with the painting team to meet deadlines, and continuously develop skills and knowledge in construction and painting trades.
- Operate hand and mechanical snow removal equipment as directed.
- Provide a multitude of landscape including installation, irrigation and maintenance using hand and mechanical tools.

Start Date: ASAP
Employment Status: Full Time, Year Round
Pay Rate: $32-$34/hour DOE
Schedule: Weekdays, Weekends, Holidays
Successful candidates will meet or exceed these requirements:
- Previous construction supervisor experience is required.
- Must have strong leadership skills, & experience training staff.
- Must be computer literate.
- Candidate must possess a willingness to train apprentices as needed to improve the departments overall capabilities.
- Must be able to work well under pressure and be self-motivated.
- Must have excellent organizational skills.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Be able to work weekends and holidays.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in construction supervision.
- Experience with painting, snow removal and landscaping.
