Director of Catering and Conference Services
The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa is seeking an experience Director of Catering and Conference Services to join their team in Avon, CO. The Director of Catering and Conference Services is responsible for planning, soliciting, and promoting catering business for the hotel. Develops the overall hotel Catering plans and budgets. Responsible for revenue maximization and control of Catering expenses through effective negotiation of services and accurate forecasting. Also, responsible for the successful execution of all aspects of group events. Manages groups to achieve guest satisfaction and ensure all team revenue goals are achieved or exceeded. Directs, implements, and maintains a management philosophy which serves as a guide to coordination with all internal clients.

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university in hospitality management or like degree; four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience as a Conference Services, Catering Manager or Director of Catering/Events in a luxury hotel or a four diamond resort. Self motivated and competitive drive required.
