We are looking for a dynamic Director of Sales to lead our team! If you are a driven and positive leader with deep experience in luxury resort sales, who can transform incredible spaces into memorable experiences, we want to connect! 

Duties Include:

The Director of Sales at The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa is responsible for leading the sales, catering, and events team to achieve the property's financial and strategic objectives. This hands-on role requires actively prospecting, negotiating, and securing new and existing accounts across corporate events, weddings, and luxury travel markets. 

Key responsibilities include forecasting sales performance, managing team development, representing the resort at industry events, coordinating with marketing and other departments, and maintaining high standards of operational excellence. The role demands a strategic leader who can balance financial targets with superior customer service and brand reputation.

Location: Avon, Colorado

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Type: Full Time, Year Round

Pay Range: Starting at $120,000/annually (DOE) plus up to 20% year-end bonus

    The ideal candidate can develop comprehensive sales strategies, manage operating budgets, analyze market trends, and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring exceptional guest experiences and the resort's competitive positioning in the Vail Valley hospitality landscape. Additionally, they will have a High School Diploma or equivalent (required), with a degree preferred. A Hospitality Management degree is beneficial. A minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role at a luxury resort is required, and ski resort experience is preferred.
