Engineer 2 - (Mid-Level) ASP
Job Description
The Aspen Mountain Residences, located in Aspen, CO is looking for an Engineer 2 to join our team. If you enjoy working as a part of a team and have a motivated and positive attitude, we would love to meet you!
Duties Include:
- Perform advanced maintenance tasks, including complex plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work.
- Lead and assist in the repair and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify and address maintenance issues promptly and effectively.
- Respond to guest requests and maintenance issues with a high level of professionalism and efficiency.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and report significant issues to the Engineer Supervisor and Director of Engineering.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Manage the inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper storage.
- Mentor and guide junior maintenance staff, providing training and support as needed.
- Collaborate with the Engineering team on various projects and tasks to enhance property operations.
Location: The Aspen Mountain Residences, Managed by East West Hospitality - Aspen, CO
Employment Type: Full Time, Year Round
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: $30-$31/ hour
Schedule: Require some flexibility from the employee

- High School Diploma and/or Trade School Certification preferred but not required.
- 2 years technical training or equivalent maintenance / hospitality experience.
- Bilingual helpful but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Ability to track and allocate time correctly.
- Certification or training in a relevant trade (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
- CPO certification preferred but not required.
