Engineer Technician
Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Engineer Technician to join our Northstar Engineering team. This role is responsible for maintaining all mechanical and electrical systems, rental units, homecare properties, and association buildings to ensure a safe, welcoming, and efficient environment for guests and residents.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver exceptional customer service to guests, residents, and fellow team members.
- Inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Conduct routine inspections of boiler rooms, mechanical areas, and pool/spa equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance on association equipment and facilities.
- Complete annual maintenance inspections for individual program units.
- Troubleshoot systems and execute repairs as directed by the management team.
- Respond promptly to guest and owner service requests, ensuring timely documentation.
- Participate in the department’s on-call rotation.
- Assist with special projects and other assignments as needed.
- Cross-departmental support may be required to meet business demands.

REPORTING STRUCTURE
- Reports directly to the Engineering Manager
- Dotted-line reporting to the Director of Maintenance and Project Management
SALARY
- $25-30/HR DOE
QUALIFICATIONS
- Mechanical and/or electrical aptitude with a willingness to learn and develop additional skills
- Valid driver’s license required
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
