Financial Accountant

Your Role:
As a Financial Accountant, you’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting informed business decisions. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, analyzing trends, assisting with forecasting, managing tax obligations, and participating in internal audits. You'll also support the month-end close process and deliver reporting that provides meaningful insights to leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including transaction entries, account reconciliations, and audit support

• Generate financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

• Assist with month-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments

• Create financial reports and analyses, including variance analysis and budget-to-actual comparisons

• Forecast costs and revenues and analyze trends to inform strategic decision-making

• Manage tax filings and payments and support internal audit activities

The Details:
This full-time, year-round role offers a competitive pay rate of $32/hour. You'll work Monday to Friday, 9 AM-5 PM, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the mountain lifestyle. Applications close on 6/20/2025 or when the position is filled, so act fast!

Start Date: ASAP

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field desired, or suitable industry experience.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in financial accounting, bookkeeping, or related fields.
• Proficiency in handling day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
