Join the Highlands Lodge team at East West Hospitality in the heart of Beaver Creek, offering ski-in/ski-out access and onsite parking. We’re seeking an organized, service-driven Assistant Front Desk Manager to support daily front office operations, partner closely with the Front Office Manager, and help lead a high-performing guest services team. This role blends leadership responsibilities—such as hiring, training, and scheduling—with hands-on front desk involvement, serving as a key point of contact for guests, owners, and staff.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as a welcoming, front-line representative of East West Hospitality, checking in guests and setting the tone for their stay

  • Coordinate and delegate guest and owner requests across front desk, housekeeping, property management, and guest services teams

  • Answer front desk calls and manage voicemails promptly and professionally

  • Oversee package handling, sorting, and occasional delivery

  • Support the Front Office Manager with hiring, training, scheduling, and day-to-day team leadership

Location: Highlands Lodge, Beaver Creek, CO

Employment Status: Full Time, Year Round

Start Date: As Soon As Possible

Pay Rate: $56,675.84 - $58,763.58 / year, depending on experience. 

The ideal candidate is legally authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing basis, without a specific end date. They will bring at least one year of front desk experience in a hotel or property setting, along with familiarity using hotel property management systems (PMS). They're a strong communicator with excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills, able to listen actively, interpret needs, and respond clearly and professionally. A positive, team-oriented attitude, solid organizational and time-management skills, and comfort handling clerical tasks, scheduling, and basic computer systems are essential. You’ll demonstrate emerging leadership and managerial abilities, including coaching, supporting, and training team members, while maintaining composure under pressure, managing supplies and inventory, and consistently presenting a polished, professional, and welcoming presence.
