The Front Desk Assistant Manager reports directly to the Director of Hospitality and together they help lead a talented Front Desk team. The Front Desk Assistant Manager role is to enhance the guest experience by creating positive, memorable first impressions, and contribute to the operational success of our esteemed property. Duties Include:
Lead by Example in Guest Service: Set the tone for the Front Desk team by consistently providing genuine, attentive service and upholding high standards of professionalism, teamwork, and guest interaction.
Guest Conflict Resolution: Take ownership of guest concerns by responding promptly, empathetically, and effectively-using sound judgment and creative problem-solving to ensure guest satisfaction.
Front Desk Operations Oversight: Manage daily operations including check-in/out, room assignments, key distribution, payments, and room moves, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional service.
Manager on Duty: Serve as Manager on Duty as scheduled, making informed decisions, resolving guest issues, handling emergencies, and maintaining property standards in the absence of senior leadership.
Interdepartmental Coordination & Group Support: Collaborate with department leads to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction; assist Sales and Reservations by managing group rooming lists, room blocks, and group arrivals/departures.

Pay Rate: $55,000 - $65,000 Depending on experience. $500 Signing bonus paid half after 30 days and the second half after 90 days.

Success in this role requires confident problem-solving, especially when resolving guest concerns with empathy and diplomacy. Candidates should excel in time management, multitasking, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment, while remaining flexible, dependable, and genuinely passionate about hospitality.
About You:
* Minimum 1 year of front desk experience; knowledge of hotel/property management systems (PMS)
* Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
* Experience coaching and training team members
* Proficient in supply ordering and inventory control
* Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure
