Beaver Creek's premier condominium property, St. James Place is located in the heart of Beaver Creek Village and less than 200 yards to slopes at the base of Beaver Creek Mountain. 

We are looking for an experienced hospitality professional to join and lead our team as our General Manager.

The General Manager is responsible for using exceptional leadership skills to lead a team of engaged professionals at St. James Place.  This position shall implement the culture of East West Hospitality by building enduring relationships with all of its stakeholders.  The GM is responsible for the overall operations including Association and Rental Program including front office, engineering and housekeeping.  It cultivates and maintains genuine relationships that result in exceptional guest and employee experiences.  It also works closely with the finance, sales & marketing, owner services and HR teams. This resort executive must utilize an effective, collaborative and transparent communication style to liaise with ownership, management company and individual owners within the resort.  

Duties Include:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Association, ensuring a positive guest and owner experience through effective coordination of all departments.
  • Manage staffing and performance, including recruitment, coaching, and evaluation of staff, while supporting department managers in decision-making processes.
  • Assist the Accounting Team in financial tasks such as budgeting and reporting, ensuring timely and accurate financial management for the Board of Managers and Owners.
  • Coordinate property projects with contractors and repairmen, managing repair/maintenance and capital projects for building, grounds, and common areas.
  • Facilitate Board of Director and Homeowner meetings, serving as an informational resource and overseeing strategic decision-making processes, while maintaining operational compliance with governing documents and industry standards.

Employment Status: Full Time, Year Round

Pay Rate: $105,000 - $120,000 DOE + 10% Annual Bonus Potential

  • 3+ years experience directly managing guest service, staff, and departmental expenses; 5+ years of direct hospitality experience
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquires or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
  • Proficient in property management systems, email, MS Office suite and social media.
