The General Manager will be responsible for overall operations of Woodrun Place, including everything related to the owner, guest, and employee experience.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operation of Woodrun Place, including but not limited to, the coordination of all operations departments to ensure a rewarding guest and owner experience.
  • Support the department managers in their decision-making processes. Create achievable goals and strategies for managers and their teams, tracking progress regularly.
  • Ensure effective communication with Owners, Guests, staff, support departments, vendors and the community efficiently, consistently portraying a positive image.
  • Work with Accounting and Board to draft annual HOA budgets and once approved, ensure operations are in line with approved budget
  • Review Month End revenue and expenses for Woodrun Place, including reconciliation of work orders and housekeeping charges.
  • Coordinate with onsite teams to ensure that HOA projects are completed per Board direction.
  • Be knowledgeable about Community Governing Documents, Policies and Procedures, and ARB Guidelines, CMCA License required or willing to receive license within 3 months
  • Coordinate, notice and attend all Association Board of Director, Committee, and Annual Homeowner meetings.
  • Be knowledgeable in perfunctory duties and systems: Phones, computer and network equipment, verbal and written communication, presentations, email communication, Microsoft Suite of products, Internet, and Woodrun Place social media channels.
  • Respond to fire and medical emergencies on property. Review or compose incident reports and submit when necessary.  Implement and review safety and evacuation plans. Understand life safety systems and maintain relationships with local police and fire agencies.
  • Require managers to maintain and update very clear operating standards, "verbal and written", for all Operational Departments.  This includes standards for unit presentation, cleanliness, timeliness of repairs, and placement of FF&E, collateral material, welcome scripts and amenities.  Standards should meet if not exceed industry accepted standards for high-end resort properties.
  • Work with Managers on HR/personnel issues and resolutions
  • Submit bi-weekly payroll deductions and payouts to Payroll department.
  • Maintain list of all RMA and Homecare contracts. Additionally, be the point of contact for owner statements, owner questions, and other related RMA and Homecare needs.
  • Manage all onsite Employee Housing leases, rent collection, etc.
  • Review all incoming guest surveys and respond as needed.

Location: Woodrun Place Association, Snowmass Colorado. Managed by East West Hospitality

Employment Status: Full Time, Year Round

Salary: $95K - $110K

Job Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree (BA or BS) from a four-year college or university, business or hospitality major preferred. 3+ years experience directly managing guest service, staff, and departmental expenses. An additional 4+ years of direct hospitality experience can be considered in place of an undergraduate university degree.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquires or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
  • Proficient in property management systems, email, MS Office suite and social media.
  • CMCA Designation or willing to obtain within 3 months of employment
