Are you passionate about creating unforgettable group experiences in a luxury mountain setting? As our Group Sales Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind weddings and small group bookings at The Charter, turning every guest’s vision into reality. Working closely with our Director of Group Sales, you’ll play a key role in shaping relationships, curating custom experiences, and ensuring seamless coordination from first inquiry to final send-off. Duties Include:
Manage wedding, small group, and social event inquiries from initial contact through planning and execution
Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and planners to drive repeat business and referrals
Create customized proposals and itineraries while coordinating with internal teams to ensure flawless events
Maintain accurate records, manage room blocks and deadlines, and support sales goals through outreach and upselling
Represent The Charter at industry events and stay informed on market trends to support strategic sales efforts

Location: The Charter in Beaver Creek, CO
Employment Status: Full Time, Year Round
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: $70,000 plus potential for Lodging Commission. Hiring bonus paid half after 30 days and half after 90 days.

The ideal candidate brings proven experience in group sales, wedding coordination, or event planning-ideally within a hotel, resort, or luxury hospitality setting. They are skilled at building strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams, communicating clearly and professionally across all channels. With excellent organizational and time management abilities, they effectively manage room blocks, deadlines, and event logistics while maintaining a strong focus on guest satisfaction and personalized service. Tech-savvy and adaptable, they’re comfortable using CRM systems like Delphi or Salesforce, along with booking tools and Microsoft Office, and can quickly learn new platforms. They thrive in dynamic, seasonal environments, stay calm under pressure, and work seamlessly with cross-functional teams. Polished and professional in all client-facing situations, they represent the property with confidence. Familiarity with Colorado’s mountain group travel market-and an existing book of business-are valuable assets.
