The Lodge at Lionshead is looking for a bilingual Hospitality Operations Lead to be the welcoming face of our property-providing outstanding service to guests and owners while keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. This dynamic role combines front desk presence with critical administrative support for the housekeeping team. Front Desk Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist guests and owners with check-in/check-out and concierge needs

  • Serve as the primary front desk presence and respond to inquiries, reservations, and service requests

  • Perform opening/closing procedures and manage guest-use items (e.g., bikes, snowshoes, yoga mats)

  • Handle package receiving/shipping and maintain a clean, professional front desk environment

  • Stay informed on local happenings to enhance guest recommendations and uphold service standards

Housekeeping Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate housekeeping schedules and staffing for daily cleans, deep cleans, and weekly rotations

  • Process payroll, owner billing, and monthly expense reports; monitor budget compliance

  • Maintain inventory, order supplies, and track departmental spending

  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management in partnership with the Housekeeping Supervisor

  • Ensure clear department communication and alignment with property standards

Location: The Lodge at Lionshead in Vail, CO

Employment Status: Full Time, Year Round

Pay Rate: $26/hour

The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with strong time management skills and the ability to balance front desk hospitality with administrative support. You excel in customer service, communicate clearly in both English and Spanish, and remain calm under pressure. Proficient in Microsoft Office and quick to learn property systems, you work independently, solve problems efficiently, and lead by example while supporting a collaborative team environment. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts is essential.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; degree in Hospitality or related field preferred

  • Guest-facing hospitality experience required

  • 1-2 years in admin, front desk, or housekeeping coordination preferred

  • Experience in a resort, lodge, or condo setting is a plus

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
