Beaver Creek's premier condominium property, St. James Place is located in the heart of Beaver Creek Village and less than 200 yards to slopes at the base of Beaver Creek Mountain. 

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated leader to join us as our Housekeeping Manager. 

This role is responsible for managing the daily operations of the housekeeping department to ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and guest satisfaction are maintained, under the direction of the General Manager. The Housekeeping Manager will provide oversight of guest rooms, laundry, public areas and housekeeping activities including office administration, dispatch, ordering supplies, labor tracking, scheduling, staffing, room inspections, training, disciplining and development of employees, for the successful operation of the department.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensure guest rooms and all accommodations, public areas and colleague areas are cleaned according to operating standards. 
  • Create, maintain, and ensure compliance with all housekeeping standards and procedures.
  • Direct team to strive for continuous improvement and excellence in all areas of responsibility. 
  • Handle administrative tasks including billing, scheduling, ordering, forecasting, and other office tasks.
  • Ensure proper staffing levels in order to maintain guest service goals. Attract, retain and motivate the associates; hire, train, develop, coach and counsel, conduct performance reviews, resolve problems, provide open communication, discipline and terminate, as appropriate. Review and complete payroll for assigned direct report associates.
  • Ensure all guest service standards are developed, trained and applied by every associate.  Review procedure and training manuals for all operating areas.
  • Work closely with the General Manager and Controller for budgeting and forecasting budgets as they pertain to the department.
  • Respond to, investigate, and resolve guest concerns and complaints.  Maintain high standards of quality and guest satisfaction working closely with other department managers.
  • Ensure coordination of activities with other departments. Maintain excellent communication and relationship with all operating areas of the property.
  • Monitor all VIPs and special requests.
  • Develop and recommend the budget, labor cost plans and objectives and manage daily operations within those approved plans.
  • Participate in all aspects of the operation when needed.


Location: St. James Place - Beaver Creek, CO

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Status: Full Time, Year Round

Pay Rate: $65,000- $80,000 / year DOE

Schedule: Flexible schedule, some nights, weekends and holidays required 


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or training.
  • Experience in Housekeeping or Property Management in a high end / luxury property. 
  • Proven ability to supervise required.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Ability to effectively present information to management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English preferred.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus and provide evidence of full vaccination status to East West.
