Housekeeping Manager
Job Description
Woodrun Place located in Snowmass, CO is looking for a Housekeeping Manager to join our team. If you enjoy working as a part of a team and have a motivated and positive attitude, we would love to meet you!
Duties Include:
1. People Management
a. Payroll
b. Scheduling - manage employee time and overtime
c. Manage progressive discipline
d. Interview, hiring, termination
2. Administrative Duties
a. Run Arrival, Departure, In house, Room Status reports in Track
b. Accurately transfer information from Track to Solver for the weekly/daily forecasts.
c. Pass down information on a day to day basis to communicate services needed or moved to different days.
d. Accurately fill in notes, times and totals for billing in Track
e. Track- Be able to read a guest/owner folio and find all information needed including details and logs.
f. Track - work orders - creation to completion
g. Forecast out at least 2 weeks
h. Billing owners/guests as needed
i. Coding invoicing as needed
j. Understand CO labor laws and stick to guidelines
3. Daily operations/Room Management
a. Prioritize room cleaning
b. Update Track throughout the day
c. Understand daily/weekly scheduling and implement
d. Clean residences if short staffed for daily schedule.
e. Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, injuries.
f. Clean carpets as necessary.
4. Communication
a. Welcome and acknowledge all guests.
b. Anticipate and address owner and guest services needs.
c. Learn owner’s special needs and instruction requests and implement requests.
d. Proactive and effective communication with peers WRP departments.
e. Ensure housekeeping coordination with other WRP departments.
f. Be knowledgeable of owner’s names and residence numbers.
g. Communicate through e-mail & verbal accurate information to other staff members.
5. Support housekeeping team to reach common goals.
a. Participate in the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of housekeeping staff.
b. Listen, respond, and report concerns of employees - discuss with General Manager if needed.
c. Provide critical feedback to the cleaners and staff on an ongoing basis
d. Hold cleaning staff accountable for their notes, and room times on a daily basis.
6. Association
a. Building Inspections
b. Common Area inspections
c. Time sheet input weekly
d. Scheduling per need and budget
e. Ordering of amenities as needed.
7. Safety
a. Direct departmental training programs and be in compliance with safety and OSHA requirements.
b. Learn and keep track of MSDS of cleaning products.
c. Complete company safety trainings provided by HR and schedule staff to complete computer trainings as needed.
8. Inventory Control.
a. Maintain an on-going missing items log and replace items in residence
i. Bill appropriate owners for replacements.
b. Assist with housewares ordering when needed.
c. Assist with linen ordering when needed.
d. Assist with cleaning supply inventory.
Location: The Aspen Mountain Residences, Managed by East West Hospitality - Aspen, CO
Employment Type: Full Time, Year Round
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: $65k to $70K
Schedule: Require some flexibility schedule

OTHER DUTIES:
1. Stock and organize linen in housekeeping storage room.
2. Stock and organize paper products and cleaning supplies upon delivery.
3. Deliver items to guest residence upon request and when available.
Because of the fluctuating demands of the operation, it may be necessary that each employee perform a multitude of different functions; therefore, as an essential part of your job, employees will be expected to help others when the occasion arises.
