Lead Massage Therapist VCY

Viceroy Snowmass, located in Snowmass Village, CO is looking for a Lead Massage Therapist to join our team. It is an exciting time at Viceroy Snowmass as we are ramping up to open our new tower, Cirque in the near future!

Essential Responsibilities

• Responsible for organizing and facilitating all training and certifications for massage therapists. 

• Authority to identify additional colleagues to assist with training. 

• Maintain and update massage therapist modalities list. 

• Mandatory participation in all Spa activities, events, and promotions. 

• Lead therapist is the voice and spokesperson for all therapists to speak on their behalf. 

• Must be the exception of perfection and not the rule. 

• Is an advocate for Viceroy’s Vision, Mission and Initiative of The Spa and its operations. 

• Responsible for conducting or assisting with professional massage product and supply inventory. 

• May be called upon to help with the hiring of new massage therapists. 

• Required to demonstrate exceptional product knowledge of The Spa and Viceroy Hotel Group. 

Location: Viceroy Snowmass, Snowmass village, CO

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Type: Full Time Year Round

Schedule: Flexible schedule, some nights, weekends and holidays required

Pay Rate: $13.00 hour (inclusive of commissions)

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to give insights on how to better the spa experience for our guests.
• Previous hotel spa experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Licenses and Certificates

• CPR/FA Training preferred
• State of Colorado Massage Therapy License 
• State of Colorado Massage Therapy Personal Liability Insurance
• Spa treatment vendor certifications to train as applicable
