Job Description
East West Hospitality is looking for a skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer I to join our Engineering Team in Beaver Creek. In this role, you'll be responsible for the repair, maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of systems, machines, tools, and equipment to ensure our properties are operating at their best. Your work will support well-maintained buildings, grounds, irrigation, and utility systems-enhancing the guest experience and preserving the integrity of our Association properties. You’ll also provide leadership and training on specific engineering projects. Responsibilities include:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on accommodations and association buildings, including painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general upkeep.
Maintain hot tubs, saunas, and boilers, including daily chemical checks, equipment repairs, and regular preventive maintenance tasks.
Complete annual maintenance inspections in units per the established checklist and document all work performed, including guest and owner requests.
Support seasonal needs such as snow removal, landscaping, and irrigation; maintain work areas, tools, and equipment for safety, functionality, and appearance.
Communicate with supervisors regarding major repairs, subcontractor activity, and provide proposals for owner or association-requested projects.

Employment Type: Full-Time, Year-Round
Pay Rate: $22 - $33/hour depending on experience
Schedule: 5 days per week, including holidays and weekends with some flexibility on shift hours
One-year certificate from a college or technical school, or 3-6 months of related experience/training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Well-organized and able to work under pressure and on a varied schedule
Proficient in reading and writing English
Ability to interpret technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
Capable of responding professionally to customer inquiries and regulatory agencies
Comfortable presenting information to management, public groups, or boards
Valid Colorado driver’s license
