Maintenance Engineer I

Managed by East West Hospitality, our renowned resort is seeking an experienced and solution-driven Maintenance Engineer to ensure our property stays in top condition. We can provide your CPO certification training! If you’re a hands-on professional with strong troubleshooting skills and thrive in a team environment, we want to meet you!

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, including painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and pool equipment care.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on boilers, HVAC systems, and individual units using checklists and schedules.
• Assist with snow removal, landscaping, and irrigation to maintain property aesthetics and safety.
• Address guest and owner requests, documenting all work accurately for billing and follow-up.
• Ensure equipment and facilities meet appearance, functionality, and safety standards, while managing parts inventory and coordinating with supervisors on repairs and subcontractor work.

Location: The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa - Avon, CO

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Status: Full Time, Year Round

Schedule: Varies based on business needs

Pay Rate: $28+/hour (depending on experience)

• Good understanding of electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, HVAC, and general building techniques needed.
• Must be familiar with operation and maintenance of a variety of tools and equipment such as but not limited to: fire protection systems, elevator systems, vehicles, hand and power tools.  
• Excellent communication and willingness to be a team player
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or lift weights of approximately 50-100 pounds, such as: furniture, boxes of supplies, tools, snow and ice, etc.
