Maintenance Engineer II

Ready to advance your maintenance career? Join our team at The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa, proudly managed by East West Hospitality, as a Maintenance Engineer who will primarily service our two adjacent properties, Riverfront Lodge and One Riverfront!

This hands-on role requires strong self-management as you'll operate outside our main building. We'll provide CPO certification training as you become essential to maintaining excellence across multiple properties. If you're a reliable troubleshooter who can work both independently and collaboratively when needed, this position offers the perfect balance of autonomy and team support. Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, including painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and pool equipment care.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on boilers, HVAC systems, and individual units using checklists and schedules.
• Assist with snow removal, landscaping, and irrigation to maintain property aesthetics and safety.
• Address guest and owner requests, documenting all work accurately for billing and follow-up.
• Ensure equipment and facilities meet appearance, functionality, and safety standards, while managing parts inventory and coordinating with supervisors on repairs and subcontractor work.

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Status: Full Time, Year Round

Schedule: Mid-shift, 3-11:30pm

Pay Rate: $25.50

• Good understanding of electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, HVAC, and general building techniques needed.
• Must be familiar with operation and maintenance of a variety of tools and equipment such as but not limited to: fire protection systems, elevator systems, vehicles, hand and power tools.  
• Excellent communication and willingness to be a team player
• Ability to work independently or with minimal supervison
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or lift weights of approximately 50-100 pounds, such as: furniture, boxes of supplies, tools, snow and ice, etc.
