Maintenance Engineer (The Cape at Kiawah)

The Cape at Kiawah, managed by East West Hospitality, is looking for a Maintenance Engineer. In this role, you will use your expertise to elevate our properties to unparalleled standards by maintaining the interior and external buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas. Duties include:

• Perform routine maintenance including painting, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
• Responsibly complete all assigned maintenance service requests.
• Notify supervisor of major repairs and subcontractor progress.
• Maintain association-managed equipment, perform minor equipment repairs, and be available for on-call maintenance.

Location: Charleston, SC

Employment Type: Full Time, Year Round

Pay Rate: $26/hour

Schedule: Full Time, mostly M-F with some weekends seasonally

• 2-3 years of property maintenance or related experience.
• Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, drywall, and painting.
• Basic computer skills, strong organizational abilities, excellent communication skills, and a teamwork mentality.
• Familiarity with various building systems including access control, HVAC, fire detection, and life safety systems.
