Responsibilities include:

In this role, you will inspect and evaluate systems, machines, tools, and equipment-such as heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems-to ensure proper functioning and identify potential problems. You will make informed recommendations for updates to enhance effectiveness, economy, and guest experience, perform routine preventive maintenance, and handle installations for special projects. Additionally, you will promptly identify and respond to necessary repairs, troubleshoot issues using available materials and independent research to determine the best solutions, and utilize preventative maintenance software to track maintenance on assets while assisting the team with its usage. Effective communication with management, front desk staff, the engineering manager, and the Director of Engineering regarding issues and project status is essential.

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Type: Full-Time, Year-Round

Pay Rate: $26 - $32/hour depending on experience; $2,000 Sign-on Bonus disbursed in four $500 increments starting after 3 months of successful work

Schedule: Full time schedule, including weekends

 The ideal candidate will have knowledge of engineering principles applicable to facilities maintenance and the ability to evaluate building systems and structures to identify current or potential problems and make recommendations. They should be self-motivated, capable of identifying issues and solutions independently, and either certified as a Pool Operator or willing to become certified. The candidate should possess any one of the following qualifications: a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in engineering, facilities maintenance, or a similar field; a certificate from a college or trade school in engineering or facilities maintenance with three to six months of related experience and/or training; or licensure as a plumber or HVAC repair technician. Additionally, the ability to troubleshoot using readily available materials and independent research is essential.
