Job Summary:

Aspen Mountain Residence is looking for a Management Trainee this position is designed for individuals looking to develop a career in resort and property management, specifically within a fractional ownership condominium operation. The role provides hands-on training and exposure to various aspects of resort operations, including guest services, property management, owner relations, financial administration, and maintenance coordination. The goal is to prepare the trainee for a leadership position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest and Owner Relations: Assist with guest check-ins, reservations, and service requests while ensuring a high standard of hospitality. Handle owner inquiries, facilitate communications, and help manage owner stays.
  • Front Desk Operations: Gain experience in front desk management, including reservation systems, concierge services, and handling special requests.
  • Housekeeping & Maintenance Coordination: Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure units are prepared for arrivals and that property upkeep meets quality standards.
  • Financial & Administrative Support: Assist in budgeting, financial reporting, and revenue management processes. Learn about HOA (Homeowners’ Association) and fractional ownership accounting.
  • Operational Training: Rotate through various departments including housekeeping, engineering, and front office to develop a well-rounded understanding of resort operations.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to safety regulations, company policies, and property management guidelines. Assist in compliance audits and risk mitigation efforts.

Start Date: May 19th 2025

Employment Type: Full Time Seasonal

Schedule: Flexible schedule, some nights, weekends and holidays required

Pay Rate: $25.00

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Previous hospitality or property management experience is a plus but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced resort environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with property management systems (PMS) is a plus.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required in the hospitality industry.
  • Passion for mountain resort living and outdoor recreation is a bonus.
