We are looking for someone with superb marketing and administration skills and a high level of attention to detail to join our team at The Collective Snowmass and Snowmass Conference & Events Center (SCEC) in Base Village. This position reports directly to the Director of Plaza Venues & Events and is split between marketing, sales, and high-level administration assistance for Base Village venues. Duties Include:

Marketing

  • Manage weekly event newsletters, press release/copy writing distribution, and follow up for The Collective and Conference Center (constant contact)
  • Work with local media to pitch story ideas to share with media. Work with lead on individual media outreach for print, online, television, radio and  other medias
  • Social marketing includes design, organizing posts, for standard events at The Collective, Conference Center, & Plaza.
  • Market all events, online, website, digital, social, print etc.
  • Creation and upkeep of a photo library, sharing photos with media and local organizations via Dropbox. Update seasonal media folder to share with partners.
  • Gathers all pertinent information relevant to marketing an event, images, description, details etc.
  • Coordinating with strategic partners (Restaurant Tenants, Town of Snowmass, ASC, Theatre Projects, Viceroy, Limelight, local businesses, non- profits, etc.) to share information.
  • Manage and maintain the back end of The Collective and Conference Center websites including updates, seasonal images, working with Blend Marketing, managing event calendar, etc. (using WordPress).
  • Coordinate, schedule and design weekly advertising as requested by staff (comedy, movies, special events, yoga, storytelling, drag bingo etc.)
  • Design series ad campaigns and graphics for marketing materials. (including advertisements, fliers, posters, social etc.)
  • Upkeep and growth of email database including local media, general, comedy and   concierge list.
  • Manage marketing budget for The Collective, BVCO Events, and Conference Center
  • Process weekly marketing invoices and ensure timely payments.
  • Support other marketing tasks as assigned.

 

Operations

  • Support venue tours for clients and groups of The Collective, Conference Center, and Plaza.
  • Assist with venue rental inquiries.
  • When acting as MOD manage event RSVP’s, attendance, hosting, and the implementation of event and venue safety guidelines across all venues.
  • Support administrative tasks, business processes and projects.
  • Manages off-season projects assigned.
  • Assigned shifts as Manager on Duty for events activations at The Collective, and Conference Center.
  • As needed assist with event support execution, set up and breakdown at all venues.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

 

Location:  The Collective, Conference Center and Plaza

Employment Type: Full Time Year Round

Start Date: September 2025

Pay Rate: $70,000

Schedule: 40 hours per week, nights, holidays & weekends required

Open until filled

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Must have a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Must have website, marketing and graphic design experience.
  • Strong attention to detail is a must.
  • Must be able to work well with others, be self-motivated, and be reliable.
  • Good "people skills" are necessary-must enjoy interaction with people.
  • Job activities can be physically active and fast paced.  Must be able to lift and carry up to approximately 40 pounds at a time.
  • Able to work flexible schedule.
