The Village at Northstar, managed by East West Hospitality, is hiring for an Overnight Maintenance TechnicianThis position plays a vital role in ensuring Association buildings are maintained in optimal condition to guarantee a satisfactorexperience for our guests. The overnight technician will deliver on-site maintenance, security, and lock-out services for all HOAs and properties managed by EWH, with a significant emphasis on garage maintenance.

Duties Include: 

  • Garage Duties: Perform garage sweeping, clean and pressure wash trash rooms, pick up litter, clean dumpsters, remove residential trash using a compactor, and enforce parking regulations in the garage.
  • Overnight Security: Conduct nightly building walks and security checks across the property. Provide lock-out services for guests after hours, collaborating with the Guest Services Manager to interpret reports and direct inquiries for residences.
  • Residential Property Management: Fulfill overnight guest and owner requests promptly, documenting all completed work. Inspect and maintain mechanical and electrical systems, providing hands-on troubleshooting and repair for all building systems. Perform various duties in rental and homecare residences, including plumbing, electrical work, appliance troubleshooting and repair, tile and grout installation and repair, drywall installation and repair, and painting. Conduct assigned annual preventive maintenance checks on individual units participating in our programs.
  • Homeowner Association Management: Work on assigned projects as directed by the department manager and day supervisor, utilizing internal staff and external contractors as necessary. Fulfill HOA work orders in residences as required, inspect and maintain preventive maintenance checklists on association equipment, and provide necessary input for quarterly board meeting maintenance reports. Conduct regular checks on boilers and chillers throughout the night and promptly respond to maintenance emergencies requiring on-site presence.
  • Administration: Participate in the on-call maintenance program, utilize IQTrac for all work, and track daily tasks.
  • Communication: In collaboration with the engineering manager and supervisor, participate in a weekly meeting to communicate the team's weekly expectations, and maintain clear communication with other departments.

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Status: Full Time, Year Round

Pay Rate: $28-$33/Hour DOE

Schedule: Full-time role

 

Successful candidates will have/be: 

  • Mechanical/electrical aptitude; willingness to learn additional skills.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays.

Desired qualifications:

  • Experience developing CMMS Preventative Maintenance programs, and inventory control experience in a maintenance environment.
  • Significant experience in electrical or HVAC systems & controls.
