As a Pool Attendant at our state-of-the-art Westin Riverfront Athletic Club, you'll be part of a vibrant, wellness-focused environment offering cutting-edge fitness equipment, energizing group classes, and exclusive events with resident athletes like Gold Medalist Mikaela Shiffrin and World Champion Josiah Middaugh.

Your mission? To create a seamless and memorable poolside experience that reflects the Westin’s world-class service and commitment to guest well-being.

What you will do:

Guest Service & Hospitality

• Greet every guest with a warm welcome and fond farewell

• Check in guests using Westin Owner/Guest and Athletic Club Member Lists

• Offer concierge-style support, including F&B service and activity recommendations

• Build rapport through friendly, proactive engagement

Pool Area Operations

• Set up and maintain pool areas (chairs, umbrellas, towels, water stations)
• Perform opening/closing duties: replenish amenities, tidy furniture, remove trash/towels
• Ensure the pool deck and furnishings remain clean, dry, and inviting
• Monitor pool area activity and guest safety at all times

Location: The Athletic Club at The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa, Managed by East West Hospitality - Avon, CO

Start Date: 5/23/2025

Employment Type: Part Time, Seasonal 

Pay Rate: $20 / hour

Schedule: 4 hour shifts. 

• 10:30 AM - 2:30 PM, 11:00 AM - 3 PM and 2:30 PM - 6:30 PM

Requires open availability and ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends Upcoming Holidays are required: Memorial Day, Independence day, and Labor Day

Posting Closing Date:  5/26/2025 or when filled

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• 1-2 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, or food & beverage roles (preferred)
• Able to lift 30+ lbs and remain on feet for 4-6 hours per shift
• CPR certified or able to obtain certification prior to employment (preferred)
• Friendly, welcoming demeanor with a strong customer service mindset
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Dependable and punctual with reliable transportation
• Flexible and willing to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills
• Interest or passion for health, wellness, and resort-style hospitality
