Prep Cook

Join the acclaimed culinary team at Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa, managed by East West Hospitality! We're seeking Prep Cooks with a passion for diverse cuisines, basic knife skills, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks. Duties:

Prep Cooks play a key role in supporting Lead Line Cooks and Sous Chefs with daily kitchen tasks. Responsibilities include setting up and stocking line stations with essential supplies, prepping ingredients like chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces. During service, they cook assigned menu items, following instructions and recommendations from the Sous Chef. Prep Cooks uphold high standards of food quality, preparation, and presentation, keep workstations clean and organized, and ensure compliance with all food safety regulations.

Employment Type: Full Time, Year Round & Seasonal

Schedule: 6am-2pm

Pay Rate: $21 / hour

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States, as work visa sponsorship is not available. Preference will be given to those with basic knife skills and previous kitchen experience. Proficiency in reading and writing English is required for effective communication in our culinary environment.
