Purchasing Assistant

We're seeking a meticulous and proactive Food & Beverage Purchasing/Receiving Clerk to keep our operations running smoothly. In this vital role, you'll ensure all food, beverage, and non-food deliveries are accurately received, inspected, and stored, in strict compliance with food safety standards. You’ll be conducting inventory checks and maintaining our storerooms and coolers stocked for seamless service. Duties Include:

• Inspect incoming products for accuracy and damage, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the Director of Purchasing to secure cost-effective, timely orders and conduct cost/price analysis on routine purchases.
• Monitor inventory levels, review invoices, and resolve issues with order deliveries, damaged shipments, and billing errors.
• Expedite pending or return orders, ensuring quick processing and minimal delays.
• Communicate with vendors, supervisors, and sub-contractors to exchange information and resolve problems efficiently.

Employment Type: Full Time, Year Round 

Pay Rate: $21 / hour

Schedule: Full time, Monday - Friday with some weekends possible based on business needs
