Position Overview

As a Real Estate Development Associate at East West Partners, you will be at the heart of our exciting new project - The Amble, an all-electric, residential community at Steamboat Ski Resort in Colorado. This job involves a mix of project coordination, marketing support, event coordination and administrative tasks. As the main point of contact for our home buyers, you will ensure they are well-informed and satisfied throughout the construction and move-in process through stellar communication, meticulous tracking, diligent follow-through, and authentic relationship-building. You will aid the project’s development team with miscellaneous tasks and responsibilities as needed, making every day an adventure.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination and Homeowner Relations

  • Serve as the primary contact for Homeowners, managing and preparing communications (written/photos/video), schedules, and project walks
  • Maintain regular communications with Homeowners, document selections, and coordinate the closing process
  • Oversee punch list completion, warranty claims, and building turnover to Homeowners Association, ensuring home buyer changes are incorporated
  • Attend Owner-Architect-Contractor meetings and conduct site walks with the Director of Construction to monitor progress and quality
  • Organize buyer-related activities including drinks, dinner, etc. with the development and sales team when buyers are in town

Marketing and Community Engagement

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on strategy, creating marketing materials, and managing sales assets
  • Track project entitlement approvals and assist with city submittals and modifications
  • Develop positive relationships with town staff and elected officials, attending public meetings as needed
  • Provide periodic updates to project and partner teams

Finance & Legal

  • Assist in preparing project pay applications and financial reports
  • Act as the primary contact for lender construction inspections
  • Gain working knowledge of all project legal documents including Purchase & Sale Agreements and Access Agreements
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly partner reports and miscellaneous tasks as needed to achieve company goals


  • Currently live within or be willing to relocate to a commutable distance of Steamboat Springs, CO
  • Minimum 2 years experience in real estate development management or translatable experience
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organization skills and time management abilities
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills, capable of managing high expectations and effectively diffusing challenging situations
  • Self-motivated and team-orientated, with proven ability to collaborate effectively
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable working in a dynamic fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and grow within a small team setting
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
  • Experience in marketing and sales is a plus
  • Event planning and coordination experience is a plus

  • Salary - $75,000 - $100,000 dependent on experience + discretionary annual bonus up to 10%, based on performance
