About the Position
As a Real Estate Development Associate at East West Partners, you will be at the heart of our new development at Snowmass Base Village in Colorado. This job involves a mix of project coordination, construction management, sales support, and administrative tasks. It requires professional communication, meticulous tracking, diligent follow-through, and authentic relationship-building with internal teammates, consultants, contractors, buyers, sales agents, and more. The entrepreneurial nature of East West Partners requires us all to wear multiple hats and fill a variety of responsibilities, but the primary expectations of this position are currently as follows:
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Project Manager in all aspects of the development process.
- Serve as the primary contact for buyers, brokers, and designers during construction and close out.
- Assist in the creation and review of homeowner association and other project legal documents.
- Gain working knowledge of all project design and legal documents in order to respond to buyer, sales agent and operations team questions regarding the project and the plans and specifications.
- Schedule various coordination meetings and prepare meeting materials and minutes.
- Review marketing materials and assist in the coordination of sales events.
- Provide periodic reviews of contractor change orders and pay applications.
- Create and maintain various budget, schedule, and design tracking files.
- Manage buyer finish selection and optional enhancement choices, including documentation and confirmation of accurate implementation.
- Prepare project updates in various formats (written, photos, videos)
- Manage pre-opening coordination between development, operations, and sales teams.
- Coordinate and lead buyer inspections and walk-throughs and track punch list completion.
- Manage the installation of common area signage, artwork, furniture, fixtures, equipment, and operating supplies.
- Manage warranty requests, including tracking all items and facilitating resolution with owners, contractor, and subcontractors.
- Assist the Development Team with miscellaneous tasks and responsibilities, as needed. This may range from providing administrative support to management of special projects.
- Attend meetings as needed, with both internal and external teams.
- Maintain project folders and tracking reports.
- Currently live within or be willing to relocate to a commutable distance of Snowmass Village, CO. No employer housing available.
- 2-4 years of experience in real estate development, construction management, or other translatable industries
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and plan specifications
- Comfortable walking around active construction jobsites
- Excellent organization skills and time management abilities
- Extremely organized with a strong attention to detail
- Highly resourceful with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills, capable of managing high expectations and effectively diffusing challenging situations
- Self-motivated and team-orientated, with proven ability to collaborate effectively
- Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable working in a dynamic fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and grow within a small team setting
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Bluebeam, and comfortable learning various desktop and app-based project management software programs
Location: Onsite at our Snowmass Village, CO office, with flexibility to work remotely on occasion.
Travel Requirements: None required, however there may be the opportunity to visit other East West Partners developments to meet and collaborate with the project teams in Colorado and Utah,
Benefits + Compensation:
- Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 (dependent on experience) + discretionary annual bonus up to 10%, based on performance
