Reservation Sales Specialist (Hourly Base + Commission and Incentives!)

The Reservation Sales Specialist will secure sales by making reservations from inbound leads, electronic leads from email and chat, outbound phone / email sales solicitations, and follow up with leads to secure bookings.

The Reservation Sales Specialist is a sales and goal driven role that will apply sales skills such as relating, inquiring, and closing skills. Identifying the needs of a lead relative to vacation plans, guest preferences as well as the amenities, bedding, location, and decor of available rental properties to determine the ideal residence for each rental guest is essential. Knowledge of each destination and property across East West's portfolio with a willingness to become an expert on rental inventory are essential to your success in this position.

The ideal candidate will be computer savvy, enjoy working in a fun, fast paced, team-oriented environment, and genuinely be motivated by exceeding goals. The Specialist will utilize a lead management system, answer inbound telephone calls, respond to email inquiries, and assist with other reservation duties as assigned.

Location: Corporate Office - Avon, CO

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Status: Full Time, Year Round

Pay Rate: $15/hour base rate + commission and incentives (target comp of 70K+)

Schedule: 5 days/week; Some evenings and/or weekends required.

Education / Experience:

• High school diploma or GED; or 3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1 year of reservations/front desk hotel or property management experience required
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs and lodging property management systems is preferred

Desired Skills:

• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to provide timely follow-up on all customer requests
• Ability to organize and prioritize daily workload independently
• Computer Operations: Should possess knowledge of Reservations software (IQWare and Track a plus), MS Teams, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.  Ability to learn other software systems including online wholesale extranets and accounting systems. 

Language / Reasoning Requirements:

• Ability to read, write, and comprehend complex communications in English and communicate professionally in English
• Spanish language and communication skill a plus
• Mathematical and Reasoning Skills, including the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions; ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions; and ability to problem solve.
