Reservations Specialist - The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa

The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa looking for a Reservations Specialist to be the welcoming voice of our property and the first point of contact for our valued guests, including VIPs. In this role, you’ll deliver a personalized, elevated booking experience that sets the tone for an exceptional stay.
As a Reservations Specialist, you’ll handle phone and email inquiries, accurately process reservations, and offer thoughtful recommendations based on your in-depth knowledge of our accommodations and amenities. Success in this position means anticipating guest needs, ensuring accuracy in every detail, and collaborating with other departments to provide a seamless, high-level arrival experience.
Duties Include:
Handle all incoming reservation requests by phone and email with professionalism, accuracy, and a focus on exceptional service.
Accurately create, modify, and cancel reservations in the property management system, ensuring guest profiles, special requests, and billing details are correct.
Securely process payments, issue timely confirmations, and communicate VIP notes or special requests to relevant departments for seamless pre-arrival coordination.
Provide detailed knowledge of accommodations, amenities, promotions, and local offerings to assist guests in customizing their stay.
Collaborate with front office and guest services to resolve concerns quickly, build guest loyalty, and ensure a smooth experience from booking through arrival.

Pay Range: $22-$24/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

Our Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills
A collaborative approach to work effectively with the Group Reservations Agent and wider team
A solid educational foundation, such as a high school diploma or equivalent
Previous sales or customer service experience, ideally in hospitality or travel
Proven customer service abilities, with attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and the ability to resolve guest concerns with professionalism
