Love the energy of weddings and the thrill of closing the deal? The Charter in Beaver Creek is looking for a Sales & Event Manager to turn dream celebrations into reality while driving revenue for our premier mountain resort. In this role, you’ll be the go-to for cultivating leads, securing and contracting weddings and wedding-related events, and ensuring every detail comes to life in partnership with our Catering and Banquets team. Beyond weddings, you’ll collaborate with the Director of Group Sales to bring in non-wedding group business, maximize lodging and F&B revenue, and keep our pipeline growing strong. Duties Include:

  • Sell and contract weddings that drive lodging and F&B revenue, guiding clients from site tours to signed agreements.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication, attention to detail, and effective timeline and invoice management.

  • Collaborate with the Director of Group Sales on lead management, sales strategy, and revenue goals.

  • Coordinate all pre- and post-event logistics, including on-site support for weddings and related events.

  • Partner with the Catering Manager 30–60 days before events for menu planning, BEO/resume creation, staffing, and seamless execution.

Location: The Charter, Beaver Creek, CO

Employment Status: Full Time Year Round

Start Date: As soon as possible

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, can be flexible based on event schedules and site tours

Pay Rate: $65 -$70k annually, depending on experience, eligible for sales incentive plan. Hiring bonus is paid half after 30 days and the second half after 90 days.

This role requires a detail-oriented, personable professional with proven success in hospitality and F&B sales, preferably in weddings, groups, or events. It requires someone who can build strong client relationships, communicate clearly, and collaborate effectively with catering, banquets, and front desk teams. The role requires excellent organizational skills to manage multiple events simultaneously, stay calm under pressure, and ensure seamless event execution. Proficiency with event planning platforms, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite is required, along with a guest-focused mindset and the ability to balance technical know-how with strong interpersonal skills.
