Duties include:

Team Leadership:

  • Interview, hire, train, schedule, supervise, coach, motivate, discipline, discharge, and give fair and objective performance evaluations to employees for salon services and spa concierge teams.
  • Responsible for performing Manager on Duty tasks for Spa and Club, including (but not limited to) opening and closing the spa, addressing staff and guest concerns in a professional manner, and supporting staff to achieve a highly functioning team.
  • Payroll processing for staff.

Guest Experience:

  • Responsible for the effortless and seamless movement of guests in and out of the spa and providing exceptional levels of guest service throughout the guests’ visit.
  • Ensures team is securing and booking reservations for the overall health and profitability of the spa.
  • Coordinator for wedding bookings and group events, liaising with clients to plan and execute memorable spa experiences for special occasions.

Financial Management:

  • Assists with the creation of departmental retail and salon budgets. Analyzes and oversees budget monthly. Reports P&L monthly.
  • Supports organizational policies and goals and collaborates to develop policies and goals for the department.

Retail Operations:

  • Manage the procurement and merchandising of spa products, curating a range of high-quality items for sale in the spa boutique.
  • Formulates pricing strategy for merchandise to maximize profitability of spa operations. Inventories all retail merchandise accurately. Coordinates sales promotions and activities internally and externally.

Administrative Duties:

  • Ensures accurate record keeping for all spa functions.
  • Confers and cooperates with other staff members and department heads to ensure coordination of activities


Location: The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa, Managed by East West Hospitality - Avon, CO

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Type: Full Time, Year Round

Pay Range: $70,000 - $75,000/annually, plus up to 10%  annual bonus potential


  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business or like asset; OR equivalent industry experience; OR equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Spa experience in a luxury hotel environment preferred.
  • Manager experience preferred. 
  • Self-motivated, ability to multi-task and lead others required.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with guests and associates in a friendly and positive manner both in written and verbal communication. 
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret communication from guests and associates.  Expertly respond and resolve complaints from guests and staff.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook.  Website and Internet knowledge.  Experience in current spa software preferred.
